Name the technique by which Gene expression can be controlled with the help of an RNA molecule.

RNA interference is the technique by which gene expression can be controlled.

EXAMPLE: Introduction of DNA using vectors to the host plant. This involves the production of sense and anti-sense RNA which together form double-stranded RNA. Thereby initiating RNAi and silencing the mRNA of the host. RNAi takes place in all eukaryotes as a method of cellular defence.
