Rearrange the following words or phrases into meaningful sentences. One has been done for you as an example.

a. courage / history/ women / change/have the / mankind’s/ to /the/ course of.

b. equal/ women/ no true / decision making/ at all/there can/ governance and development / participation of / levels of/ be /without

c. limits/ for/success/ any/ women/I / key/think/ set/ the /to/ is/ to not

(a) Women have the courage to change the course of mankind’s history.

Solution: The starting fragment would be the subject i.e. ‘women’, the next fragment in continuation would be talking about the verb i.e. ‘have’. The next fragment would be talking about what they have i.e. courage. The next fragment would be talking about the courage to do something, thereby forming a logical and coherent sentence.

(b) There can be no true governance and development without the equal participation of women at all levels of decision making

Solution: The sentence starts with the subject i.e. ‘there can’. It is further followed by a verb i.e. ‘be’. It is further followed by ‘no true’. The continuing fragment would be talking about the development and government without something. The concluding fragment would be talking about the participation of women at all levels.

(c) I think the key to success is for women to not set any limits

Solution: The sentence starts with the subject i.e. ‘I’. The next fragment would be talking about the verb i.e. ‘think’. The next continuing word would be talking about the key to success which is then followed by the connector i.e. ‘is’ and the concluding fragment would be talking about the women for not setting limits, thereby forming a logical and coherent sentence.
