Explain any three objectives of the ‘National Jute Policy 2005’. (CBSE 2013)

Objectives of the National Jute Policy 2005:

1. Increase quality: The Govt wants to improve the quality of the jute manufactures as well as the productivity of industries.

2. Good price to farmers: The policy wants to ensure that the farmers receive a good price and have security, therefore.

3. Yield per hectare: The yield per hectare of jute cultivation has to be enhanced through better agricultural inputs.

Explanation: The Policy wants to provide an all-round development of the industry in a way that the providers f the raw material and the producers of the manufactured goods are satisfied.
