1. Acquired traits are not inherited but develop during the lifetime of an individual.

1. Inherited traits are those which are obtained from parents or caused by a change in its genes (or DNA).

2. These cannot be passed on to the future generations.

2. These can be passed to the future generations.

3. These cannot direct evolve. For example- muscular body of wrestler.

3. These can directly evolve. For example- fused ear lobes.
