Who said these lines? Do you agree with Aunt Jane's advise? Why/Why not?

These lines are spoken by Aunt Jane. Aunt Jane believes that one should not owe any money to an outsider. She says that she could never think of owning an extravagant villa like the one owned by Jack and Jill. Aunt Jane knew about Jack’s weekly income and wanted to know how ere they meeting their installment obligations. She was surprised to know that they were depending on loans. She didn’t really appreciate this whole idea of purchasing on installments. She believed that one should spend less than what they earn. Overall she was shocked how they managed to run their family. She was correct in her opinion because excess of anything is not advisable but to a certain extent Jack was also correct. As far as Jack’s opinion to own his house someday, he was being practical and calculative about the future whereas the way they were constantly depending on loans was unadvisable.
