Mention three instances which are exceptions of the principle of one person, one vote and one value.

Democracy is based on the basic principle of political equality. In a democracy, each adult citizen must have one vote and each vote has one value. Three instances where this is denied are:

a. In Saudi Arabia, women are not given the right to vote.

b. In Estonia, the citizenship rules are made in such a way that people belonging to the Russian minority find it difficult to get the right to vote.

c. In Fiji, the vote of an indigenous Fiji a has more value than that of an Indian-Fijian.
