Food security is a very essential part of our daily lives. The three dimensions of food security are:-

(a) Availability of food which indicates to the production of food within the country, food imports and the previous years stock stored in government granaries.

(b) Affordability refers to that an individual vhas enough money to buy sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet one's dietary needs

(c) Accessibility means that food is within reach of every person .
