Food security is a very essential part of our daily lives. The three ways in which food security can be ensured are:-

● Availability of food which indicates to the production of food within the country, food imports and the previous year’s stock stored in government granaries.

● Affordability refers to that an individual has enough money to buy sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet one's dietary needs

● Accessibility means that food is within reach of every person.
