How have the vegetation of thorn forests adapted to the climate?

The thorn forests are found in the region with less than 70 cm rainfall. Their adaptive features are:

1. Long roots which can penetrate dep into the soil in search of moisture.


2. Stems are succulent to conserve moisture.


3. Thick leaves so as to minimise evaporation.
