Which migratory bird visits the Rann of Kachchh in winter? Why? How do we benefit from these birds?

Siberian crane visits the Rann of Kachchh in the winters. It comes all the way from Siberia as it gets too cold for it to survive there. They come to India, build nests from the salty mud of Rann of Kachchh and raise their young ones.

Its visit to India is one of the most extraordinary sights in the country. It also promotes tourism as many visitors visit the place to have a look at them.
