Agriculture and industries are not exclusive to each other, the existence of one depends on the other. The industries depend on agriculture for raw materials to process them into making finished products to sell them in the open market or to export. Agriculture sector depends on the industries for the products like irrigation pumps, fertilisers, insecticides, pesticides, plastic and PVC pipes, machines and tools, etc. Thus, the development and competitiveness of manufacturing industry have not only assisted agriculturalists in increasing their production but also made the production process very efficient. They very much operate hand in hand.
