Human settlement is regarded as the cluster of dwellings wherein people inhabit more or less permanently. Its form in any specific region reflects the human relation occurring with the environment. There may also exist certain settlements that are occupied for shorter periods of time and are temporary, occurring for maybe a season. Irrespective of the alteration of a human settlement, it persists in time as well as space.
