‘The promotion of the use of nonconventional sources of energy in India is the need of the hour’.Yes, I agree with the statement due to the following reasons:

a. A nonconventional form of energy is a renewable source of energy.

b. It is inexhaustible and sustainable in nature.

c. It is more equally distributed and is available in abundance all over the country.

d. Although the initial cost of installation is high, the latter cost of maintenance is extremely low.

e. It is an environmentally friendly source of energy.

f. It is highly valuable.
