Draw the structure of 2, 6-Dimethylphenol.

First we draw the structure of phenol and number all the carbon atoms.



Now, given, on the 2nd and 6th carbon atom, there are methyl substituents. So from the –OH group as numbered, we place the 2 –CH3 groups on the 2nd and 6th carbon atom.
