A glass of water has an ice cube floating in water. The water level just touches the rim of the glass. Will the water overflow when the ice melts?

The mass of water displaced is same as the mass of ice (m) But ice is less dense than water as it occupies more volume than water. Therefore, as it melts, the water will take the place of the extra volume of ice. Hence, there will be no overflows.
