Difference between biodegradable substances and non-biodegradable substances. Refer to Q.8 Habits for disposing 'ton-biodegradable waste:

(i) Disposal of wastes after separating them into biodegradable and non-biodegradable wastes in separate dustbins and treating wastes properly before dumping in landfills.

(ii) Encourage the use of gunny bags, jute bags and paper bags in place of polythene/plastic bags.

(iii) Recycle the plastic and glass objects after use.
