We often observe domestic waste decomposing in the by lanes of residential colonies. Suggest ways to make people realize that the improper disposal of waste is harmful to the environment. ( CBSE 2014, 2013)

The various ways to make people realize that the improper disposal of waste is harmful to the environment are as follows:

(i) During decomposition of domestic waste, it becomes the breeding place for mosquitoes and as we know mosquitoes carries so many diseases with them. So, to aware the public about the harmful effects of it, some posters can be pasted on walls.

(ii) A fine should be imposed strictly by the sanitary officer to all those which throw domestic waste on roads and lanes of residential colonies.
