The use of chloro Fluoro carbons (CFCs) have resulted in the depletion of Ozone layer. Since, it is being used as a coolant in refrigerators which results in increase in the temperature of the Stratosphere. CFCs rise up to the stratosphere layer where the molecules are broken up by the UV-rays and results in depletion of Ozone layer by damaging it. If Ozone layer depletion continutes, it may lead to skin cancer, cataracts, damage in immune system etc. It can also lead to affect the rainfall, aquatic food chain and much more.
