Q9 of 63 Page 21

The curved surface area of a cone is 4070 cm2 and its diameter is 70 cm. What is its slant height? (Use π=22/7).

We have,

Area of curved surface = πrl = 4070 cm2

Radius of base r = 70/2 = 35 cm

= ×35×l =4070 = l = 37 cm
