Q12 of 63 Page 20

Find the volume of the largest right circular cone that can be fitted in a cube whose edge is 14 cm.

We have,

Radius of the base of the cone =14/2 = 7 cm

Height of the cone = 14 cm

∴ Volume of the cone = ××72×14 cm3

= 718.66 cm3
