Pancreas secretes pancreatic juice which contains digestive enzymes like pancreatic amylase, trypsin and lipase.

Functions:


(a) Pancreatic amylase breaks down the starch.


(b) Trypsin digests the proteins.


(c) Lipase breaks down emulsified fats.
