Q3 of 189 Page 512

The length, breadth and height of a cuboid are 15 m, 6 m and 5 dm respectively. The lateral surface area of the cuboid is

Given: Length = 15 m

Breadth = 6 m

Height = 5 m

Lateral surface area of a cuboid = 2(Length +Breadth) × Height

1 m = 10dm

⇒ 5dm =0.5m

Lateral surface area = 2(15+6) × 0.5 m2 = 1× 21 m2

= 21 m2
