List any three health problems in India.

Due to the unhygienic conditions that prevail in India, there are three major health problems:

I. Food-borne and water-borne diseases:

The food and water that is unclean cause several diseases. Waterborne diseases occur due to unclean stagnant water nearby or mixing of untreated sewage with river water.

II. Insect-borne and air-borne diseases:

Lack of hygiene leads to breeding of infectious houseflies, mosquitoes which are the carries of certain diseases. Many pathogens breed in areas with stagnant water.

III. Lack of proper medical facilities:

Lack of medical facilities especially in many rural areas leads to damage to health. Lack of knowledge delay timely treatment which may result in serious consequences.
