State the main functions of Red Cross.

The function of the red cross is to:

I. Extend relief and help to the victims of any natural calamity like flood, fire, famine, earthquakes, etc.


II. Procure and supply blood for the needy injured people of war and other disasters.


III. Take care of maternal and child welfare centers.


IV. Train midwives.


V. Extend all possible first-aid in an accident.


VI. Provide an ambulance service in all emergencies.


VII. Educate people in accident prevention.
