How are ‘Gobar gas plants’ beneficial to the farmers?

‘Gobar gas plants’ provide energy and improved quality of manure to the farmers.


NOTE – Biogas is produced from shrubs, farm waste, animal and human waste and has higher thermal efficiency than kerosene or charcoal. The biogas plants are set up at various levels- individual, municipal, cooperative level. The plants which use cattle dung are known as Gobar gas plants.
