Q2 of 23 Page 1

Solve any four sub-questions:

Find the area of sector whose arc length and radius are 10 cm and 5 cm respectively.

The diagram is as follows:

Area of sector = 1/2 × Radius (r) × Length of Arc

Given:

Radius, r = 5 cm

Length of arc = 10 cm

Area of sector = 1/2 × 5 × 10

∴ Area of sector = 25 cm2
