(7): Double the divisor and place this digit at ten’s place of new divisor (22+2in this case).

(8): We know that 243 × 3 = 729, ∴ the new digit is 3.

Divide and get the remainder.

(9): Since the remainder is 0 and no bar is left,

∴ = 12.3
