Solve any four sub-questions:

In the given figure, a tangent segment PA touching a circle in A and secant PBC are shown, If AP = 15 cm BP = 10 cm, find the length of PC.


Given: AP = 15 cm

BP = 10 cm


To find: PC


Using the tangent secant theorem


PA2 = PC × PB


∴ 152 = PC × 10


∴ 225 = PC × 10


∴ PC = 225/10


∴ PC = 22.5 cm
