(a) There has to be an increased awareness about human rights because these rights are fundamentally important for growth and development of an individual

Globalisation has boosted the process of creating awareness among people about Human Rights. With the use internet there is an increasing connectivity between people that has lead to the creation of various civil societies, social movements and voluntary organizations like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch etc. that work towards for the preservation of Human Rights at international level.

(b) The right to acquire nationality means becoming a citizen of that country.

Under the UN Declaration of Human Rights Article 15:

1. Everyone has the right to a nationality.

2. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality.

The signatory states are responsible to provide their people the right to nationality, enabling them to the right to participate in the social and political activities of the state.

(c) India established the National Human Rights Commission for the protection of Human Rights in the country.

The National Human Rights Commission was established in 1993, to investigate into cases of violation of Human rights anywhere in the country. The State of Maharashtra also has a Human Rights Commission.
