(a) Swami Ramanada Tirth formed the Hydrabad state congress in 1938. Nrayana Reddy and Siraj ul Hassan Tmizi were a part of this organisation which was banned by the Nizam of Hyderabad. Swami Tirath led the movement for securing the rights of the group.

(b) Dr. T. B. Kunha worked to bring about awareness amongst the people of Goa and bring to them the excess of the Portuguese government. He led the Goa congress committee against the Portuguese and founded the Goa youth league In 1945. Ram Mahohar Lohia started a Stayagrah against the Portuguese government for the liberation of Goa.

Organisations like Azad Gomantak Dal and work of many Stayagrahis helped fan the struggle for the independence of Goa. After negotiations failed with the Portuguese government, the Indian army in 1961 entered Goa and captured it.
