Explain overloading of the household circuit.

In our house, the live wires entering our house meter have a potential difference of 240 V and minimum-maximum limit of current drawn from mains is 5-20 A. if the current drawn exceeds 20 A it causes overheating which may cause a fire. It happens mostly when many appliances are connected to a circuit. This is called overloading.
