Find the values of x, y in the following figures.

Given: ∠ADC = 3x and ∠BDC = 2x


Here AB is the straight line.


∴ ∠ADC and ∠BDC are linear pair.


⇒ ∠ADC + ∠BDC = 180°


⇒ 3x + 2x = 180°


⇒ 5x = 180°


⇒ x = 36°
