Successors of numbers are usually found out by adding 1 to it.

Similarly, we will try to solve 0 × (-25) and then add 1 to it.


0 × (-25) = - 0 × 25 = 0 [∵ multiplying anything by 0 gives 0]


Now, add 1 to it. That is,


0 + 1 = 1


⇒ 1 is the successor of 0 × (-25)


Now, let us solve 1 × (-25).


1 × (-25) = -25


And -25 ≠ 1


So, 1 × (-25) is not a successor of 0 × (-25).


Thus, this is a false statement.
