(i) 8% of Rs x is Rs 100


(ii) 32% of x kg is 400 kg


(iii) 35% of Rs x is Rs 280


(v) 45% of marks x is 405.

1) Given, 8% of x = 100


⇒ = 100


⇒ X = 1250


2) Given, 32% of x = 400


⇒ = 400


⇒ X = 1250


3) Given, 35% of x = 280


⇒ = 280


⇒ X = 800


4) Given, 45% of x = 405


⇒ = 405


⇒ X = 900
