A trolley is pushed along a road with a force of 400 N through a distance of 60 m in 1 minute. Calculate the power developed.

Force= 400N,

Distance travelled = 60m,


Time, t = 1 min = 60 s


Work done = Force x distance


Work done = 400 x 60


Work done = 24000 J


Power = Work done/Time


Power = 24000/60


= 400 W
