Suppose the area of a square field is 7396 m2. Find its perimeter.

Given area of a square = 7396 m2


We know that the area of a square with side s = s2


⇒ s2 = 7396


⇒ s = √7396


⇒ s = 86 m


Also, the perimeter of a square = 4 × side


⇒ Perimeter = 4 × 86 m


⇒ Perimeter = 344 m
