If the angle between the plane mirror and the incident ray is 400 , what are the angles of incidence and reflection?

Angle of Incidence is the angle between the plane mirror (or normal) and the incident ray.

∴ The angle of Incidence = 400


By-Laws Of a reflection of light


The angle of Incidence = Angle of reflection


⇒ Angle of Reflection = 400


Hence Angles of Incidence and Reflection are 400
