Biome

BIOME:

Some regions of the Earth have the same climatic conditions and same abiotic factors like soil, pH, rainfall, sunlight, etc. The biotic factors, i.e., the living organisms are also similar in that area. So, such vast land having same or similar abiotic and biotic factors is known as a biome.

A Biome can have a lot of smaller ecosystems.

Two types of biomes can be found on the Earth:

• Aquatic biome

• Land biome
