Describe any four features of the Vienna treaty of 1815 in brief.

When Napoleon got defeated, the representatives of the European powers – Britain, Russia, Prussia and Austria decided to meet at Vienna and set up the settlement for the future of Europe. So the treaty of Vienna was framed in 1815. The four features of the Vienna Treaty of 1815 were:

• The main feature was to bring back the monarchies which the Napoleon overthrew and create a new conservative rule in Europe.

• A number of states were set up on the boundaries of France to stop them for further expansion of France.

• In 1815, the Conservative government was set up which was autocratic in nature.

• The conservative government included those people who didn’t tolerate the criticism and the people who questioned their autocratic rule.
