Slant height of cone(L) = √ (height2 + radius2)

L = 92 + 122


L = 81 + 144


L = √225


L = 15 cm


Cloth required = curved surface area of cone = πrL


= 3.14 × 12 × 15


= 565.2 m2


As, cost of 1 m2 cloth = Rs. 14


Cost of 565.2 m2 = Rs.(14 × 565.2) = Rs.7912.8
