Seed selection is the very first step to produce a good harvest. Disease resistant and high yielding seeds are selected to produce healthy crops. In a dry climate, drought-resistant seeds are cultivated to reduce productivity losses. The type of seeds used directly determines the quality and quantity of crops produced. Hence, seed selection is an important step to grow healthy plants.
