Mention the various type of cases which can be considered in the Supreme Court.

The Supreme court is the apex court of the country, established under the Government of India Act 1935. The constitution has granted vast powers to the Supreme Court, it is a final court of appeal.

The cases considered by the Supreme Court are:


1. It decides the disputes between the Centre and any state or between two or more states, disputes arising out of any treaty or agreement.


2. It deals with the cases related to the violation of the Fundamental Rights of citizens.


3. It hears appeals against the judgements of the lower courts. It hears appeals related to constitutional matters (If the matter requires interpretation of the Constitution), Civil matters (deals with any harm to the rights of the individual), Criminal matters (matters related to offences under law).
