What do you mean by residuary subjects?

Residuary subjects are those subjects which are not included in any of the three lists, e.g., marriage,divorce, etc.and the right to make laws on these subjects is called residuary power. According to our Constitution, the Union Government has the power to legislate on these ‘residuary’ subjects.

Example of residuary subjects is software, hardware, etc.
