It is the people in the political and the political parties that have dragged caste into politics.

1. The candidates are chosen by the political parties keeping the caste composition in their mind. While forming a government, it is ensured that different castes people are placed in it.

2. Political parties support some castes in order to gain their votes.

3. Even the people cast their votes who belong to their own caste under the lure of getting some benefits.
