The impact of Bhakti and Sufi movements is best visible during Akbar's reign. Explain.

The reason for the impact were:


1. Akbar being a religious tolerant ruler treated both Hindu and Muslims equally. He recognized both bhakti and Sufi saints equally.


2. He preached religious harmony and brotherhood.


3. The preaching of bhakti and Sufi saints were simple religious beliefs contrary to the strict norms of temple priests. Hence attracted common people.
