What changes take place in girls during puberty?

Changes which occur in girls during puberty are:

(i) Rapid increase in height.


(ii) The region below the waist becomes wider.


(iii) Hair grow in armpits and in pubic regions between the thighs.


(iv) The ovary enlarges and starts producing matured eggs.


(v) Menstruation begins.


(vi) Have high pitched voice.


(vii) Development and enlargement of breast.
