How will you justify that you are an alert consumer while buying a commodity from the market? Give two examples/ situations to support you.

To be an alert consumer, we must be aware of the commodities quality and quantity. The consumer must notice the hallmark, expiry date, date of manufacturing, retail price and any other specified instructions about the product.

Example: In a milk product we must see the date of manufacturing and expiry date before buying the product.

In the vegetable shop, we must ensure that vegetable vendor is weighing the product correctly and he should not try to sell us the perished vegetables.
