Q2 of 40 Page 8

Two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are (2x + 30)˚ and (3x + 30)˚. Find the value of x.

Given: adjacent angles of a parallelogram are (2x + 30)˚ and (3x + 30)˚

To Find: Value of x.

Concept Used: Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary, i.e., Sum of adjacent angles of a parallelogram = 180˚

Explanation:

(2x + 30)˚+ (3x + 30)˚ = 180˚

(5x + 60)˚ = 180˚

5x = 180˚ - 60˚

5x = 120˚

x = 24˚

Hence, the value of x is 24˚.
