Given: Perimeter of parallelogram = 22 cm


Measure of longer side = 6.5 cm

Explanation:


Let the shorter side of parallelogram be ‘x’ cm.


Perimeter of parallelogram = 2(x + 6.5) cm


22 cm = 2(x + 6.5) cm


x = (11 – 6.5) cm


x = 4.5 cm


Hence, the length of the shorter side is 4.5 cm.
