HETEROTROPHIC NUTRITION


- Food is synthesized by autotrophic organisms like plants using water, minerals, CO2 in the presence of sunlight and chlorophyll.


- Raw Materials are required


- Chlorophyll (green pigment) is present.


- Process of digestion is absent

- Heterotrophic nutrition is obtaining food from the autotrophs since it cannot synthesize its own food.

-Process of digestion is required to convert complex molecules into simpler ones
